CLEAN – SEPARATE – CHILL – COOK

Fight BAC! Clean is one of the 4 major concepts used to bring to mind practices that help reduce the risk of food borne illness.

Use this learning station to help participants discover ways use CLEAN practices. You willl find that focusing on one major Fight Bac! concept at a time helps to keep participants from becoming overwhelmed.

Use your training in food safety to guide you when questions about other concepts arise. Bring resources you need to feel more comfortable about answering any type of food safety question. Remember that the FIGHT BAC! website is one resource that can help. Refer to yourUSDA Dietary Guidelines appendix 3for more information.
